Beginning cohort year 2023 (current 9th-11th graders), Oklahoma requires each student to have completed an approved ICAP project.The Individual Career & Academic Plan is a document that will guide individuals through the coursework and activities for achieving personal career goals. The Oklahoma Department of Oklahoma law currently requires students to graduate high school prepared for the workforce or with a post high school education plan. Students, families, school counselors, educators and school leaders can access two free online tools to help guide students on their ICAP journey. Students may start the ICAP process in sixth grade and update it every subsequent grade. Follow during the 2019-2020 school year.
